Peanut immunotherapy
Peanut allergy can significantly impact daily life, but advances in treatment offer hope. We are one of the few centres in the UK, and the only centre in Southampton, to provide cutting-edge oral immunotherapy for children and young people with peanut allergies. Our goal is to empower families with life-changing therapy that reduces the fear of accidental reactions and enhances quality of life.
Sublingual immunotherapy

What types of treatments does the clinic offer?
We offer a range of treatments, including desensitisation immunotherapy for hay fever and peanut allergies, advanced eczema therapies, asthma management, and personalised dietary plans for food allergies. Each treatment is tailored to your specific condition and needs.
What is desensitisation immunotherapy, and who is it for?
Desensitisation immunotherapy is a treatment that gradually exposes the immune system to allergens, such as pollen or peanuts, to reduce sensitivity over time. It’s suitable for patients with severe allergies who meet specific criteria following a specialist assessment.
How do you treat severe eczema?
Severe eczema can benefit from a combination of daily moisturisers, medicated creams, and advanced techniques like wet wrapping. Specialist garments made from silk or cotton and tailored treatment plans are also available for long-term relief.
Are the treatments safe for children?
Yes, all our treatments are designed with safety in mind and are suitable for children. From allergy testing to immunotherapy, our specialists ensure that every treatment is age-appropriate and supported by evidence-based practices.
Can I access treatment if I don’t live locally?
Yes, many patients travel from outside the area for our treatments. We also offer telehealth consultations for advice and follow-ups, and for long-term treatments like peanut immunotherapy, we provide flexible scheduling to accommodate families travelling from afar.
